This license protects the working system while giving legitimate customers practical internal-use rights.

Ownership
All rights, title and interest in the Built Not Bought method, named frameworks, diagrams, text, software, scoring logic, templates, workbooks, guides, videos and related materials remain with HRIS Audit, LLC. Access grants a limited license; it does not transfer ownership.
Individual internal‑use license
Unless a different written license applies, a purchase or access grant permits one named account holder to use the licensed materials for personal professional development and internal work within the organization identified on the account. Reasonable printing and internal completion of templates by that licensed user are permitted.
Team and enterprise license
Team and enterprise rights apply only to the legal entity, number of seats, projects, duration, affiliates and internal workshop rights stated in the order or written agreement. Systems integrators, contractors and external advisers are not included unless expressly authorized.
Book-owner companion
Book-owner access provides only the companion materials identified in the portal. It does not include the Field Kit, premium tools, full framework diagrams or practitioner rights unless separately granted.
Prohibited uses
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, publicly post, share credentials, upload to an unlicensed shared repository, remove notices, white-label, publish as your own, create a competing commercial methodology, use the materials to train or fine-tune a model, systematically extract protected content, or use an individual or enterprise license to deliver paid services to third-party clients.
Practitioner use
Consultants, advisers, trainers and service providers who wish to use the method in paid work for third parties require a separate written practitioner license. Purchase of the book, Field Kit or enterprise access does not create practitioner rights.
AI systems
Do not upload paid materials, full framework diagrams, protected prompts or working files to public, shared or third-party generative-AI systems unless HRIS Audit has provided written permission and the system’s terms, retention and training settings have been reviewed.
Notices and attribution
Copyright, trademark, confidentiality, license and account-identification notices must remain intact. Generic previews may be shared by linking to the public HRIS Audit page rather than redistributing the underlying file.
Updates and access period
A one-time Field Kit license covers the version delivered unless the order states otherwise. Membership access and updates continue only while the subscription remains active. HRIS Audit may retire obsolete versions while preserving reasonable access consistent with the purchased license.
Termination
The license may be suspended or terminated for nonpayment, chargeback, credential sharing, redistribution, attempted bypass or other material breach. Upon termination, access ends and the user must stop using and delete materials when required by the applicable agreement.
